Scott Georgetown Jewelers
About Second-Generation Jeweler, GIA Graduate Gemologist, Scott
As the second-generation of Georgetown Jewelers, Scott has been the driving force that got Georgetown to 75 years in business. As a child, Scott washed the floors and windows and helped his parents (Alice and Gene) with minor chores at the store. When he got a break, he would ride his bike around Georgetown Square after school.
From “the tiny shop next door” to now occupying three storefronts, Scott also developed the relationships to travel to Antwerp, Belgium to hand select Diamonds directly from the Diamond cutters. Scott studied watchmaking (like his father) and also holds the title of a GIA Graduate Gemologist, as well as many other gemological and jewelry related certificates.
When Scott is not working, he enjoys traveling, skiing, biking and art.
