Catherine wears many hats here at Georgetown Jewelers. Not only is she our office manager, she also heads our repair department while keeping us all on track. Catherine has been in the jewelry industry since 2015, is an Accredited Jewelry Professional through the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and is currently studying to be a GIA Graduate Gemologist.
With a passion for antique jewelry and gemstones from a very young age, Catherine loved visiting the Chicago Field Museum and wandering their Hall of Gems. Her favorite part about working with jewelry is being a small part of the piece's story and knowing this treasured item will be passed down for generations to come.
Catherine loves to go hiking, antiquing, stargazing, and of course, she loves to spend lots of time with her beautiful daughter!
Insider Tip: Catherine may mostly be in her little desk corner, but be sure to say "Hi!" - She always has a smile on her face and is happy to talk all things antique!
